It's October so it must be Monster Month on MadGerbil! The
Minions set out to make their own movie in Tinsel Town. Using an
ancient spellbook stolen from a former dark sorcerer boss, they
accidentally summon real eldritch and Lovecraftian monsters to play the
villains on screen. After the creatures escape and terrorize Hollywood,
the Minions have to fix their mess and save the world.
Meanwhile in CONTROL Resonant, instead of playing as Federal Bureau
of Control Director Jesse Faden, players control her brother, Dylan
Faden.The paranatural anomaly contained within the Oldest House
has breached containment and spilled out across New York City. Dylan
must navigate a surreal, warped version of Manhattan to contain the
cosmic threat, uncover the source of the anomaly, and find a way to
wake Jesse from a mysterious coma.
Then
in Final Fantasy Resonance, Co-developed by Square Enix and Lancarse,
the game acts as a complete console adaptation of the first main story
arc ("Lapis") from the mobile game Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Knights
Rain and Lasswell set out to protect the world's remaining elemental
crystals after the Earth Crystal is shattered by the enigmatic Veritas
of the Dark. Joined by a mysterious girl named Fina, they travel across
Lapis to stop a catastrophe.
