Madonna
has a 2nd Confession whilst there is an Evolved Campaign with Halo in
the Super Mario Galaxy.
If you thought it was hot in June, well July 2026 is shaping up to be
an absolute scorcher month across music and gaming.
Here is the breakdown of what islanding this July and where
everything stands:
3 July- Madonna
is officially taking us back to the dance floor. Serving as a direct
sequel to her legendary 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor, this
fifteenth studio album drops right at the start of the month. She has
reunited with producer Stuart Price (alongside heavy-hitters like
Cirkut and Tainy) to deliver an upbeat, electronic escape. If you
caught the gorgeous, star-studded Confessions II – The Film that
premiered in June, you already know the vibe is immaculate.
20 July - Nintendo
and
Illumination get to gether to bring us The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
which takes Mario and Luigi out of the Mushroom Kingdom and blasts them
directly into orbit. It adapts the cosmic, gravity-defying scale of the
beloved Nintendo Wii games into a fast-paced space adventure.
28 July- Master
Chief is getting a massive, Unreal Engine 5-powered glow-up. Developed
by Halo Studios, this is a ground-up remake of the 2001 classic Halo:
Combat Evolved. It’s bringing gorgeous modern visuals, 4-player online
co-op, a "campaign remix" feature with gameplay-modifying skulls, and
three brand-new missions. Best of all for multi-platform gamers? It is
launching on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.

Madonna - Confessions II
Twelve
individual songs + four bonus tracks, all on one disc. CD comes in a
4-panel digipack including a fold out poster. The new album is the
continuation of the iconic counterpart Confessions on a Dance Floor.
Madonna sums up her new record best by quoting the first few lines of
her song, One Step Away, "People think that dance music is superficial,
but they’ve got it all wrong. The dance flooris not just a place, it’s
a threshold: A ritualistic space where movement replaces language.”
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
The
Super Mario Galaxy Movie finds Mario and Luigi solving everyday
problems in the Mushroom Kingdom with their "let’s-a-go” attitude. They
meet a new friend in Yoshi, try to reform a miniaturized Bowser, and
eagerly look forward to Peach’s birthday party. A call for help sends
the crew across the galaxy to face new worlds, unexpected threats, and
iconic characters like Rosalina and Bowser Jr.
Halo: Campaign Evolved
Halo:
Campaign Evolved is a faithful yet modernized remake of Halo: Combat
Evolved’s campaign. Experience the original story rebuilt with
high-definition visuals, updated cinematics, and refined controls, plus
three brand-new prequel missions featuring the Master Chief and Sgt.
Johnson. A broader arsenal of weapons, vehicles, enemies, and
gameplay-modifying "Skulls” – optional modifiers that change combat in
fun and challenging ways – add fresh tactics and endless replay ability.
